Surprising Statistics?

We've just worked out that 47% of our members have either never grown food before or are starting again as a result of the scheme, leaving 53% who were already growing food at the time of joining. This is interesting to us as the scheme was started in order to encourage people to start growing food. Whilst it seems to be achieving this aim so far, it appears that food growers are interested in getting involved for the extra support and the social aspects of the scheme.
